Tim Bainey Jr. will be back in
the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series this year, making his season debut for
Andy Hillenburg's FAST TRACK Racing Team in the "Atlanta 200" March 6th at
Atlanta Motor Speedway.
"I'm really excited about our
new deal for 2010," said Tim Jr. "It's an honor to be involved with someone
like Andy and I think this is the start of something great as we look
towards the future.
Tim Jr. will pilot the #48 Truck for the
Atlanta Event and share seat time throughout the season with Veteran NASCAR
Drivers Chad McCumbee, Hermie Sadler, and Bryan Silas throughout the season.
"I learned a lot last season driving the #00
Aaron's Truck. We had some great runs and I think we earned the respect of
most of the series regulars. I know we made a lot of fans as we traveled the
country, and it was a great experience for us. I'm really looking forward to
building upon that."
"Right now we are working hard to put some
sponsorship deals together so we can fill all the events on the schedule,"
said Tim Jr. "We'd like to do the Rookie of the Year deal, but we'll know
more on that in the next few weeks."
The 2010 season will be a little
different for Tim Jr., as it will be the first time he's competed for anyone
outside of his family owned team.
"It's going to be a little different," said
Tim Jr. "But I think the atmosphere within Andy's team is very similar to
what we have always had, and I really look forward to building a
relationship with everyone involved."
"My family is still going to be very involved,
both of my brothers and my dad will be working with us at the track. My wife
is working with me on the marketing side of things, and my mom's ready to
get to the track - so its going to be great for all of us!"

weeks!
