Sherwin-Williams to Sponsor Brett Butler and Tim Bainey Jr. for 2008 USAR Hooter’s ProCup Campaign

It was announced today that Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corporation one of the country’s leading manufacturers and distributors of automotive aftermarket and Fleet/CV coatings and associated products, will sponsor both Brett Butler and Tim Bainey Jr. during the 2008 USAR Hooter’s ProCup Series Campaign.

“It’s great to be able to work with such a reputable and well known brand like Sherwin-Williams,” said Brett Butler. “We look forward to representing them during the 2008 season.”

The Sherwin-Williams logo will be carried on both Butler’s #99 and Bainey Jr’s #00 for the entire season.

“I’m sure our new Sherwin-Williams Paint will make the Dream Machine look even better this season,” said Bainey Jr. “Everyone that I’ve talked with at Sherwin has been great, they understand how to make motorsports work for their marketing program and it is a pleasure to be able to represent such great people.”

Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corporation just announced the opening of 11 new North American branches including the opening of its landmark 200th store in the fourth quarter of 2007.

These new retail locations will continue to incorporate SWAFC's strategy to enhance the purchasing experience for its customers by including wider, more open aisles, brighter lighting and newly organized displays of coordinating products - all in an effort to make it easier to buy automotive paint and associated products.

"Our goal is to open new stores that conveniently meet the needs of our collision repair customer base around the country and bring them greater value," said Tom Hablitzel, SWAFC President. "Each store features an improved merchandising mix, better product presentation and an interactive store environment."

New and renovated stores now have a consistent look and feel, reinforcing the Sherwin-Williams brand while providing customers with an instant comfort level and familiarity with the store whether they are in California or Canada.

These new store openings have brought SWAFC's total number of retail branches to 209.
