Aaron’s Dream Team Look for Another Top-10 at South Boston –
APPEARANCE UPDATE South Boston
Tim Bainey Jr. and the #00 Aaron’s Dream Team head into South Boston,
Virginia looking to improve on their 9th place finish at the
famed ½ mile earlier this season.
“The Aaron’s Dream Team is on a roll right now,” said Tim Jr. “South Boston
was never one of my favorite tracks to race at, but with the way we have
been running lately – I’m excited to unload our Aaron’s Dream Machine just
about anywhere.”
“We finished 9th here earlier in the season, but we’ve really
come a long way with things since then. I’m pretty excited to see just how
good our Aaron’s Dream Machine is going to be this weekend,” he finished.
Crew Chief Dan Bainey is thinking much of the same.
“We were really good the last 2 times we’ve been to South Boston. I think
with the way the season has gone, Timmy should be pretty confident going
into this weekend. It’s never been his favorite track, but they’ve had a lot
of first time winners there, and I’m sure if we could put the Aaron’s Dream
Machine in Victory Lane - that might change his opinion of the place.”
The Aaron’s Dream Team is looking to climb back inside the Top-10 of the
National Points Chase after suffering 2 of their worst finishes this season
in the last 2 events, a 14th at Radford where they were leading
the race before being taken out of contention by a lapped car, and 16th
place finish at Jennerstown where they came up short on fuel while running 5th
with 2 laps to go.
When asked about it Tim Jr. smiled and said, “It’s a pretty good year when
you’re calling top-20 finishes your worst nights.”
The “Miller Lite 250” takes place this Saturday Night at 7:00 pm at South
Boston Speedway.
Tim Jr. and the #00 Aaron’s Dream Team along with teammate Brett Butler and
the #99 Verve Energy Drink Team will be making an appearance at Aaron’s in
South Boston, VA Friday Night from 3:00pm-6:00pm.
