Tim Bainey Jr. and the Aaron’s Dream Team Look to Return to Top-10 Ways at Kenly in Aaron’s 250

 

Tim Bainey Jr. and the #00 Aaron’s Dream Team are looking to turn around their Championship Series luck this weekend in the Aaron’s 250 at Southern National Raceway in Kenly, NC.

 

“What better event to get our first Top-10 of the Championship Series than the Aaron’s 250,” said Tim Jr.

 

“We’ve really been on top of things all season. These last 2 events have knocked us down in the Championship Standings, but it’s not because we haven’t been fast.”

 

The #00 Aaron’s Dream Team has been fast. They were running 7^th at Mansfield in the first Championship Event before contact from behind sent the Dream Machine into the wall hard, ending their night with a 33^rd place finish.

Then at Iowa, Tim Jr. was just riding it out through the early stages of the “Race 2 Recovery 225”. As high as 10^th at one point, their strategy of avoiding trouble was working well until a problem with the electrical system became an issue, they fell to a 27^th place finish.

 

“We’re looking forward to the Aaron’s 250 at Kenly,” said Crew Chief Dan Bainey. “From what I’ve seen, I think Timmy will really like the layout of the track. We’ve been really tough at these 3/8-1/2 mile tracks this year, it has a little banking, and well - -we are really excited to see what we can do!”
