
Tim Bainey Jr. and the
Aaron’s Dream Team Battle Through to a 28th Place Finish at the
Milwaukee Mile
Tim Bainey Jr. and #00 Aaron’s Dream Team came home with a 28th
place finish in the USAR Hooter’s ProCup Series’ “Sears Auto Center 150”
this weekend.
“We just couldn’t get the Aaron’s Dream Machine hooked up this weekend,”
said Tim Jr. “We made a lot of changes, but once in a while you’re going to
have these kind of days.”
It was one of the most competitive fields ever for the USAR Series, as over
50 cars attempted to make the event. Tim Jr. and the #00 Aaron’s Dream
Machine would roll off 35th in the 40 car field.
“From the beginning we set our sights on staying out of trouble and just
finishing the race without any problems,” said Tim Jr. “The Dream Team did a
great job for us in the pits, we made several changes, and they really
worked to keep us in good position all day.”
At the end of the day, the team climbed to a 28th place finish,
12th overall in the Northern Division.
“In the end, it was a solid point day for us,” Said Tim Jr. “A long day, but
a 12th place finish in our division keeps us up in the points –
so we’ll take it and head to Mansfield.”
Tim Jr. and the Aaron’s Dream Team currently sit 12th in the
Northern Division Championship Point Standings.
