Tim Bainey Jr. and the Aaron’s Dream Team Head to Rockingham for Season Finale

 

Tim Bainey Jr. and the #00 Aaron’s Dream Team are looking to continue their climb back up through the USAR Championship Chase Points as they head into the season finale this weekend at “the Rock”.

 

“We had a tough start to the Chase,” said Tim Jr. “There are good and bad things about the new 4-race format, if we would have finished those first two events where we were running – we’d be sitting inside the Top-10 of the points right now and I’d be saying that we love it. But that didn’t happen.”

 

Tim Jr. and the #00 Aaron’s Dream Team did look to be back in form at Kenly 2 weeks ago as they posted an 11th place finish in race #3 of the chase.

 

“I wouldn’t say ‘back’ to form,” said Tim Jr. “We were probably our best all season in the first Championship Race, we just got taken out while running 7th. Iowa was a mechanical failure, but we were running good enough for a top-10 finish there too. But it was nice to get the 11th place finish after those two.”

 

The Aaron’s Dream Team closes out their 2008 season this weekend in the “American 200” at the famous Rockingham Speedway in North Carolina.

 

“It will be different to go to a big track with these cars,” said Tim Jr. “I’m sure we’ll be fast, but I’ll tell you more after this weekend. If we can just come out with another solid finish hopefully we can end the week with both of our teams inside the Top-20 of the Championship Chase Standings.”
